The Board of Directors of the Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley has established a fund in honor of Shari Harrell, President and CEO July 2013 to March 2024. The Harrell Fund for the Community is an unrestricted grantmaking fund that the CFMV board will guide based on the needs of the community.

The fund is a permanent endowment that CFMV will work to grow so it can support the ongoing needs of the community in perpetuity.

It is with great enthusiasm that the CFMV Board of Directors creates the Harrell Fund for the Community to honor the dedication and legacy of a leader, visionary and friend.
