Senior Director of Operations and Communication

In her new position, Rachael dedicates half of her time to leading the efficient performance and functions of the organization, which includes technology, human relations and facility management. The other half of her time is spent developing and implementing a communication strategy that builds and sustains awareness of the Foundation’s services and impact. Additionally, she’ll work to align communication efforts with the current strategic plan and the organization’s overall intended impact.

Rachael served most recently as CFMV’s development and marketing director and at her previous employer, was a volunteer before becoming the assistant child advocate and then development associate. She completed her master’s in English at Cleveland State University. She also attended Youngstown State University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in professional writing and editing.
